Anyone ever install a Nissan Indiglo Emblem?

I got one of those indiglo emblems from ebay and I'm trying to install it on a 99 maxima, but the instructions for it suck. Instructions:

1. Electromotor: DC 12V
2. (-) of center controller, please connect with car cover
(+) red line directly connect with electromotor.
3. Black (-) connect ground line.

I have no idea what this means. Crude diagram looks something like this:

(-------)_____________________________Black B (-) connect ground
(emblem)_______|IC CONTROL|__________Red B (+) 12V connect
(-------)

Searched the threads, but I'm left clueless as to where to start. Where do I solder or splice the red wire to? What do I connect the black wire to? Thanks for any help.
