Want new speakers

I know next to nothing about car audio, but want new speakers in my 95 Max. I busted my left-rear speaker so now is a good time. I dont' have the Bose, how much better will some upgraded speakers sound than the stock ones. I was looking on Crutchfield, and saw a few options, waht is good?? My price range is hopefully something less than 300 for all 4 speakers and whatever I'll need to install them. Is Cruthfield the best place - or are there better deals elsewhere?? Thanks for the help.

Crutchfield is good if you have extra money to throw away, although their close out items are pretty cheap. Try www.thezeb.com . They have good prices, and supperb customer service. Or you can try http://www.cardiscountstereos.com/Index.htm for even lower prices, but little customer service.

Use crutchfield to find out what you want, then search around to see if you can find it cheaper somewhere else. They are also having a tent sale this weekend, but I am not sure if you get the discount prices over the phone or not...
