Anyone else got rip-off on the .org

I love the .org and I thought when buying something from the people on here would be safe, but this fool proved me wrong. I sent this guy $220 for some springs and then I haven't heard from him since. I get ****ed off everytime I look at my 4x4 maxima. Anyone else have this happen to them or I am the only one?

Who was it? Post his handle so he can't rip off other members.

WOW! I always felt safe buying from other members. Who is this loser giving the board a bad name? Post his name!

I've done 5 or 6 transactions on this board, and have had complications with 3 of them. One of them is still pending... my $160 is hanging out in his pocket and my wheels are hanging out in his bedroom...

On the other hand, I've done at least 15 transactions on this board and haven't received one problem. I think I'm getting lucky with good sellers.

Also, I've done at least 7 transactions, me being the seller. I try my best to ensure the buyer that he's in good hands.

A suggestion: If anyone is buying something that's pretty expensive, he should look at how long the seller has been a member, his status (maxaholic for example) and he should be sure to ask for references. I have about 6 references, all from the org, and I think it would be useful if other sellers kept track of their past customers. Wouldn't it be cool to implement a small link near our handles that link us to a list of references?

I got ripped off for a Stillen y-pipe just recently. Sent the pipe, got nothing in return. Some kid named Jay from Edison, NJ. I am not done with him yet, we will see what happens. I also was under the impression that the people on the org were here to help each other for the most part. Guess I was wrong.

A brotha is feeling real salty right now. I sitting here crying bout getting ripped off I my stuff came today. I'm sorry bout the confusion. It's just that playboy didn't respond to my e-mails and it's been like a month since I had sent him the money and I got scared. To all the folk that sell parts over the .org PLEASE keep in contact with the buyer when needed so no one will fell the same I did.
