Q: Possible to relocate ignition switch?

Curious, i was looking at a pic of a G35 from an angle where it looked like the key ignition switch was located near the middle dash area.

How hard do you guys think it would be to relocate that Key ignition switch to somewhere else in the car?

if ur gonna go that route, go porsche style, on the left side of the steering wheel, so u got ur hand on the shift lever and ready to go.

i think saab style would be kinda cool but thats just me. It looks fairly easy to relocate, its just adding wire length depending on where you put it, its not bloted down or anything but you will have a hole there since the piece was molded for it. my $.02, just leave it.

side note, putting it on the other might be realistic since in jap they drive on the right side so i think the key is on the left side. somone correct me if im worng.

To relocate the ignition swtich you would have to disable the steering lock
