Well! its been a week having my 1996 Maxima SE and i'm soooo happy w/ the car. It's my first 5-spd (manual) and i think after a week's driving i got the basic driving down... i just gotta learn to shift faster. Anywho, i got pics up!

Wow, you guys actually use "Paki" for Pakistani? When I was a kid, that was considered a diss. ...kind of like using "Jap" which a lot of Japanese don't like...

nice ride... you got struts/shocks on ur car.. or are u runnin' on springs only... cuz i heard that's a bad idea with stock struts/shocks.. nice ride again.. i like the rims...

 

Oops, sorry. No, I didn't replace the front myself. The original owner got into a fender bender a couple years ago and decided to swap the damaged 96 front w/ a '97 front. I haven't done any mods to the car myself, yet.

 

The original owner is my cousin. He bought a brand new M3 and i told him that i wanted to buy his maxima. He ended up selling it to me for $6k. He just wanted to sell the car to someone close to him and he knew i'd take good care of it =)

 

Really??? Well now we use paki for pakistani and indo for indians... no diss considered. Usually, both pakis and indos are refered to as "desis". Don't ask me where that came from, but i just know alotta indians/pakistanis use that term more often now

LOL, bindi is the "red dot" that hindu ppl (indians only) put on. I live in california, and i've never heard that term used for a person.
