Is this the trans breather hose?

I took out the intake to take out the starter to autozone for check (found out my 3 months old battery was bad). When I install everything back and found one hose nothing to connect to? So, I've searched and found that might be the breather hose. The car is running very good now. But just want to make sure the hose in the pic that I link here is indeed the hose that not suppose to connect to anything. thanks.

For some odd reason i had never noticed that that hose was just there. the other day i took alot of hoses of to clean them and i polished my valvecover and when i was putting eveything back together i saw that one hose with no where to put it. i thought i was going crazy cuz i looked in every direction of the 5 inch radius that the hose could possibly cover for like and hour til i followed it to the tranny and realized it must just be in the air. this post just reassured me.

I believe there is a clip under your breather hose that it will clip into. There is on my car anyway.
