4th Gen Trim Differences (from 3rd Gens). Im looking to buy one.

hey guys,
here is how it goes, im looking to buy a new car at my dads house. I have a 1993 SE Auto with 100,775miles on it right now and I love the thing, we sold our old car for us to drive (my dad is providing a car for us to drive), anyway so this is how it goes, my sister wants a jetta or civic, but she hates manuals, my dad wants a manual with AWD and 4door. And I want anything nissan (within limits) or a truck, either way...

basically ive stayed out of the whole thing for a while now, but they are stuck and asking my help, theyve automatically decided that a Maxima would be nice, funny how that works.

now for why im posting, I want a 5speed VE or better. Im really interested in 4th gens just cause it would be fun to change things up alittle. now 4th gens have changed things up a bit, for the trim, can you tell me how GXE and GLE compare to the 3rd gens and if they changed anything on the SE's (as in something that you could only get if its an SE is now on a GXE?)

as an example, this link
http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/v...&ac_afflt=none
it says GLE, but i called and he said he believes its an SE, which by the 3rd gen rules, makes sense.

also were going to take a trip down to northern california later this summer so maybe we will pick something up along the way or something, also my dad really wants a low mile car.

basically any deals you know of and the model differences.
if we just cant find one to fit the profile, and my dad decides that he would rather not pay extra for lower miles for a 4th gen, then maybe ill be getting another 3rd gen.

4th gen looks different, has a different engine and a million other differences. It was a big step from 3rd to 4th generation.
