JWT popcharger help. sensor hanging

JWT popcharger help. sensor hanging

i just installed the popcharger but there is a sensor that was on the original box that has no spot. where do i place it? and my engine light is on now, any reasons why? i tried searching but no luck and i'm in kind of a hurry. please help if you can.

That's your mass airflow sensor I believe. You should wedge it in between the pop-charger and accordian.

Because you ran the car without the plug in, and the plug detects if there is air going into your engine. When the ECU sees that no air is going into your engine, the light comes on to tell you something's wrong. You need to reset your ECU (search).

If this is the sensor I am thinking about, you don't need to put it anywhere just put it out in the engine compartment somewhere. If you light came on then, you ran the car without any intake attached to the throttle body?

Are you sure?? I had the same issue come up when I first installed my pop charger and the intake was on securely before the engine was started. I'd have to agree with Vyrus on this one....just my .02 cents

Yeah, from what he said.. it sounds as tho the sensor he it talking about is the one I am talking about. Vyrus seems to be talking about the MAF sensor, and I do agree with that. So be what it may.

I wedged mine in between the intake adapter and the filter inner lip...so the probe is suspended in front of the MAF screen.
