People who know about NOS--->>

I am planning on adding nos to my car. I wont go crazy. It will be like a 65 shot.

How much HP will I get with 65 shot?
IS it bad for the engine/tranny?
Can maximas stock fuel pump handle the extra flow?
What problems i might run in?
How can i make it legal to be in my trunk?
I know thats it needs colder sparks. Will that make my car slower when Im not using it?

Thank you.

About 65

IS it bad for the engine/tranny?

Any large power adder is bad, taking procautions and adding supporting mods will help.

Can maximas stock fuel pump handle the extra flow?

Maybe But I wouldn't risk it.
There is a group deal right now on the Walbro

I you go too lean say bye bye engine, if you don't get an RPM switch and you are not really careful you can say bye bye tranny.

The RPM switch or Window switch is an accesory which allows you to select an rpm range for which the Nitrous will spray, so if you have it set at 3500-5500 then when the kit is activated and the car is at WOT the nitrous will spray inbetween 3500-5500 RPM this helps if you hit the limiter and the fuel cuts and if you so if you depress the clutch at WOT and you hit the limiter or you forget to shift the engine won't go, and it also helps when you are at low rpm as you don't want to spray at too low an RPM.

Hey 190hpkilla

There are a bunch of threads right now which answer all of this information:

Search for posts by:

There is also some great info at maximaforum.com under the Nitrous forum as well as a great write up at maximadriver.NOS info for the masses

I want to know as much as possible prior to installing to protect my car.
Good Luck!
