Make sure you buy lots and lots of Q-Tips to clean that little gap. But they are nice- basically the Konig Verdict with 5 spokes, not 6.

And BTW- The spokes do look huge in the pics. I think it is just the lighting. I can see my whole rotor and calipers and all......

About $100 less/wheel too! I'd go with those.......although ADR has the worst customer service in the world.........

Just my .02 here:

You had it right the first time. Don't settle for imitations like the ADR or Konigs. If you got the dough, go with the Racing Harts.

Konig's are not imitations. They cost the same as the Racing Harts. What are you talking about?

The wheels are made from the exact same molds and everything. From a quality standpoint, they are identical.

IMO- It's more like a namebrand thing. Konig:Levis as Racing Hartiesel Jeans

Looking at the pics of the RH's Rob said he thinks he want and the pic of the ADR look alikes, you can see they are not exactly the same. Looking closely at details you can see they are slightly different. Couldn't possibly be from the same mold.

I am not saying one is better than the other as far as quality, but the ADR's do seem to be an imitation RH.

i think the KONIG's look much better than both of them. Did any one look at the Sacchi rims? They are all like twins.

To rephrase:
When you see two wheels that look identical, but they are different brands, they are using the same molds.

As far as the materials go- I wouldn't be too worried about the quality differences between the brands. Just watch out for finishes.........

WRONG!!! and WRONG!!! AGAIN!!!!

Unless it is something like Vogue where they buy wheels from manufactuere's like MHT (Niche, Neeper, Foose, etc.) and put their name on it. In this case, all wheels will be from a different mold since none of these companies are affiliated, they are what is called a knockoff wheel.

So are you tyring to tell me that I'm wrong? *******.

The wheel companies may not be affiliated, but many of them have their molds made by the the same place. I had a very lengthly conversation with a guy in Florida who makes nothing but replicas (knockoffs) and he told me that they buy their molds from the exact same place that the manufacturers do.

This might only be the case with stock wheels, though, so I could be wrong on the aftermarket issue- but you hit the nail on the head with the MHT thing.... But the Nissan 17" 6 spoke REPLICA is made from the EXACT same mold as the real deal.

Unless this guy was REALLY full of ****.....

REPLICA. CAN YOU TELL????? NO. WHY? IT'S FROM THE SAME MOLD!!!!!

Not going to start a flame war, because I think we are both right. But most aftermarket manufacturers will copy a high priced well selling patented wheel and mimic it with subtle differences. Acero and Primax are some of the most notorious.

I think we are both right too. I'll leave it at that. But I'm starting to lean towards you being more right about aftermarket wheels after seeing the subtle differences between those 4 pics you posted. But I am fairly positive about stock replicas.......

You have to worry about quality as well as finish. For example, good quality forged wheels are a LOT more forgiving when hitting big potholes than say, a pressure cast wheel.

This is a good article on tire rack about wheel construction:

I understand that part. But when you are looking at VERY similar looking wheels side by side, it will be rare that they are constructed differently....correct me if I am wrong though......

Very true. Chances are when you put two 200.00 rims side by side chances are they are manufactured the same way. Same can be said for 800.00 rims.
