3.5in Speaker question

Ok call me an idiot, but i tried searching but nothing came up.... But here is my question, I have a pair of 3.5in Infinity Reference speakers sitting in my basement for about 7 months that i took out from my now totalled 91 Cavalier Z24, I was just wondering if there is a good place to place these speakers. There are two places i was thinking, on the door panel of there rear seats and the center arm rest of the rear seats. But I was thinking that if i were to place these speaker there, they would easily get damaged, and not only that, placing it on the rear door panel would give lots of headaches installing it since i have to run another wire thru there. Is there any other place i would put this. If not, would it be really worth it, if i were to make a custom adapter and place the speaker in place of the front 6.75in speaker. I also have these Pioneer 6x9 speakers also from my totalled Cavalier, that i wanted to install in my 97 Max, but from searching 6.5 speakers are the way to go for the rear. Thanks for any input.

If you're going to go through the trouble of running wires and/or making adapters, go with a larger speaker. You will not be happy with the 3.5" speakers.
