for those of you guys that swapped out to 95-96 red clears or 95-99 altezzas did you use any kind of sealer/resin on the outer lights. I'm putting in my davidl red clears and noticed there is none on the new lights. when i pulled off the stock light most of the sealer was on the light and not on the body. I'm thinking of using this stuff called RTV which has many automobile applications. any thoughts?

I used clear RTV silicone adhesive sealant, Permatex brand, from Autozone.

No, it's tight between the light and body.

Unnec. Don't even worry about it. I have had my outer clears on and off amillion times. Then I bought some Altezzas, test-fitted those one and off (plan to open them and paint them) and then I stuck back on my clears. Save your money.

Thanks for your input. Does it rain much where you're at. I'm in Sunny CA but I don't want to take any chances. The RTV silicone is 3 bucks. I'm going to use it. Good insurance. thanks for your reply
