AC/Heater fan doesn't work...and it's hot outside!

Son's 91 Maxima either has a fan that doesn't work or a problem in the switch wiring.

He bought the car a year ago and it had previously experienced some sort of electrical problem that melted many plastic pieces...couple of tail lights, hmsl, and the heater/ac electrical connector.

Have installed a new ac/heater control box and replaced the melted electrical connector going into it, but still no fan.

Any ideas?? How do we get to the fan??

Thanks, Bob Kolhouse

Check the fan relay located behind the right kick panel, right in front of the passenger's door.

If this relay is bad, nothing works.

Replace it with the fog light relay under the cover in front of the battery (blue in color also) in order to do a quick test.
