Back seat porting? Foam insulation to stop rattles?
Back seat porting? Foam insulation to stop rattles?
Has anyone here ported their back seat to accomodate speakers located in the trunk?
I have an infinity basslink system in the trunk, which sounds alot better with the back seats down. Since the 2k max doesn't have a ski-hole, I was wondering what it would take to port the back seat. Specifically, underneath the armrest.
Has anyone customized the back seat of their 5th gen? Can anyone shed some light on how I might add some ports to the rear seat? I have a non-bose system and would prefer not to have to rip apart my rear decklid.
I was contemplating doing some spray foam insulation to stop some annoying rattles by the rear decklid. I did a peel-n-seal of the entire trunk (accept on back seat portion obviously).
Any thoughts, pictures or recommendations? I have seen some 4th gens utilize the ski-port. However, we on our 5th gens dont have them.
