3.0L or 3.0J?

I'm in Kuwait on an Air Force Mission and I've seen a lot of Maximas
over here. The front lights and tail lights are totally different.
Plus on the rear there's chrome letttering that says 3.0J. Has anyone ever seen these? I'll try and get some photos. They look similar to the 4th and 5th generation Maxima.

Gepetto, is the m16 a SMG because it uses a clip? So are all auto and semi-auto clip-fed rifles SMGs? Does the barrel length have anything to do with it?

I always kinda wondered about that.

As far as the 3.0J... I have 3 speculations:
1) J is the Kuwaiti abbreviation for Liters
2) J is the trim level (like SE or GXE) <--Edit: WINNER!!!!
3) They aren't Maximas at all, but rather Nissan 3.0J, a similar but different model sold in the Middle East.

Oh there Maximas alright. I'll see if I can get some info for
on a the guards walking around the base. They know a pretty good
amount of English. Did you know they have so much money here that all
the Kuwaities go to school for free.(INCLUDING COLLEGE). If they don't want to learn here they get sent anywhere they want for free.
They get all the money and roll out in Maximas. It's the oil that makes them so rich. They offered to pay every military member from the US that helps protect them $30,000. But the president said that
wouldn't be necessary just send it all to the White House. Maybe I'll
get to drive one while I'm in this hot a$$ desert.

Its the trim level, same as Australian 4th Gens.

30J = Base model.
30G = Climate control, bit of fake wood, slightly better stereo and
a few other minor differences.
30GV = Sunroof, leather, full woodgrain trim, fogs, cornering lights,
better stereo with In dash TV, etc.
