I cant chirp 2nd(ACT fitment problmes??)

I think my clutch is wearing out cause I cant chirp 2nd

Im thinking about ACT with street presure plate. Do u guys have fitment problems. I know some aftermarket parts dont fit rite and people tend to leave that out. Like pace setter STS whick suc k s BalZ
untill its tuned right. So does ACT fit like an OEM clutch. Clutch is the last thing i want to screw around with. Thanks.

I've never heard of anyone having any install problems with the ACTs. Get one, you'll be a very happy man. I've driven a Max with one and I found the ACT clutch to be far easier to drive smooth.

FYI, if it's hot out, it will be harder to chirp on the shifts. The ground and tires mare more sticky (assuming you have good tires) and the tranny is hot therefore the clutch material is a bit more giving. I'm having a very hard time chirping 2nd too, but it's 90+ degrees out. Honestly, I wouldn't worry about the clutch until it slips on you.

I had my ACT Street clutch and Heavy Duty Pressure plate install about 2200 miles ago. I haven't had any problems and boy do that thing Grab. I was worried about that myself, I asked my mechanic about the fitment and He said it fits just like the factory clutch.

This guy Races nissan Zs and have been a mechanic for 15 years...

I thought the ACT clutch is just a modified OEM clutch and plate. If this is so, it better fit well.
