I have tan leather and want to get the Wood Trim center console I've seen in the I30's and some GLE's. Would it be cheaper and easier to get it from a junk yard or to go thru someone like Nopi for aftermarket. It costs mucho dollars to go thru Nopi for their wood trim mod, and I'm a little skeptical on
a) whether their kit will actually fit (they show a Mitsu in their pic) and
b) what pieces I actually get (they list 4, 8, 10 and 14 piece kits).
Plus I want to do the Pop-Out Tray Compartment modification given by the Org, and I want the wood color to match.

1) Is this difficult to do?
2) Which is less expensive?

I also want to replace the stereo while I'm doing this. Where do I get that little compartment people add on to fill the gap? Its called a "Metra" kit right?
