I know that this should go under the group deals forum but I thought that 3rd gen owners should know first since it's for our cars. I was reading the group deal for budget y-pipes but they said that they did not include 3rd gen maxima's so I decided to call myself since I wanted one and the price ($165 shipped) was too good to pass by.

I talked to someone and they said the reason they weren't doing our generation y-pipes was because their really wasn't a demand. They made them before but are now focusing on 4rth gen because of the high demand.

He said that if I leave my name e-mail he would contact me back. He said that they should start making them soon if there are enough people interested. Let me know if any of you are interested. The price is great and I've heard nothing but good of their work.

I hear there only making them in SS, and that they are mandrel bending them now. All at the same price!!

Although there are a couple threads were people werent too happy with theres. Someone said there 4th gen sounded like a VW beetle b/c there flex section was not thick enough or something. Someone else said that they did a messy job welding in the oxygen sensor fitting. The other thing I heard was that the pipe did not line up well with the cat connection.

There were only a couple complaints that I saw and most probably had more to do with installation error.

As of right now I will have to wait until the gut from budget contacts me back but it would be nice to see how many people are interested so that I could give him an estimate as to how many to make. Another thing if you have nothing positive to say or are not interested just leave this post alone for us people who are. If you want to pay over $200 + shipping for your 100 000 mile car then do it. I just want cheap reliable performance right now because face it our maxima's are the Sh*t but they are still 12 years old.
