McKinney, Texas to Star, Missippi on one tank, then to the gas station. 460 miles. 2900 RPM the whole way. 1 Stop in Shreveport to play blackjack, so still got the 31.3 MPG with a stop in between. BTW: 2900 RPM in 5th is about 78.6 MPH.

me too and i am thinking of getting that tornado thing which makes gas milage better and increases some hp. i haven't tried the tornado thing but has anyone else has tried it??

 

i usually get about 340-350 per tank!

 

I have 211,xxx miles on my car and I still get around 30 to 31 mpg on the hwy running around 76 mph. sorry to those that are geting 15 mpg.

 

damn u all!!! How??why???what?? n/m "what" but how are you guys getting that much mi./tank. at most i get 250 mi on a full tank. Somethings totally wrong here.

 

i normally get about 28 on highway trips. not too bad for a 10 year old car. but sometimes i'm at like 15 when i drive the way i usually do with all city miles.

 

I think I'm getting about 24-25 mpg ??, but the odometer doesn't work half the time. Kaleb - have you ever checked your speedo vs the mile markers? I run about the same RPM's as you (2800 at 75 MPH), but my speedo reads about 4-5 MPH high. I checked it on different roads at different speeds, but it's always the same. The odometer reads high, too (when it's working). BTW, my wheels & tires are stock. Anyway, 460 on a tank is awesome.

 

I typically get about 23 MPG at 6500 FT. above sea level, I've never made it to 400 but I'm positive I can. Our engines should be getting better gas mileage than when they were new. I'd have to drive with a really heavy foot to even come close to 15.

 

Normal work week is 350 mi.. 25-26 mpg. Long run .. 29-30 with no load. With a rack and two kayaks 20 mpg at 80 mph. My wife will have to pee before I need gas.

 

You lucky ****. My se-r got 30mpg once that was without going WOT for the entire tankful. Since then it gets 25-27mpg.
