I tried to spray and when I opened the bottle, nitrous started to come out of a hole in the line. When I checked, the line looked burned? What could of caused this? (this was in my trunk) :) :wall:

Is it near or on a connector or right in the actual line running from the bottle to the solenoid?

If its on the connector then it could just be loose or cross threaded etc but if its on the line itself then its got a hole in it and will have to be replaced or shortened and a new connector put on.

Is this a new install? Was it a used kit? Did it work ok on previous occasions?

could be rust, not a hole

no i found out what it was, i have a power wire for my amp in my trunk, its was cut when they broke in my car and jacked my stuff.i touched it to the line and it started to spark.I'm pretty sure it was moving around and kept hiting the nitrous line then it burned through.so i need a new line.Or where can i get it shortened?

sucks, nitrous line get get pricey

I have seen nitrous feed lines on ebay for a reasonable price. I would make sure to pull the fuse from your power wire to keep it from grounding against anything else in the trunk. A live power wire flopping around is a good way to burn your car to the ground?

buy NOS's "race" hose because they are rubber jacketed

I just looked at my product catalog again and its called "fire sleeve protected hose".

part # for the 4an 6foot is 15260-FS-NOS

it might just be cheaper to just use standard stainless hose and just buy a rubber sleeve or someting and slip it on rather than buy that
