Few n20 q's

Hey guys, I'm looking to start my nitrous experience with a 35 or 50 shot....probably the 50, because I'm greedy.

But anyways, I have some questions.

1) I have an afpr....does this mean the fuel tee for the fuel solenoid is between the fuel rail and the afpr? I assume so, but just want to be sure.

2) I want to use switches in cabin to activate relays in the engine compartment. Can you guys suggest relays to use? I'm very new to this kind of stuff.

3) I have a 3" intake (was going to get diff tb and maf....never happened), so it reduced AT THE THROTTLE BODY. Does this pose any kind of threat to pooling?

I do not want backfires.

Thanks guys!!!!

I am going to guess that you are going to get a few responses with people telling you to use a 75 shot ... that is about the extent of my N20 experience. I would guess it goes fuel tank -> AFPR -> solenoid T -> fuel rail.

Ohh wow, can't believe I forgot to say I have an 00. So its return style.

Fuel tank > fuel rail > fuel tee?? >afpr > return line

And yes, I'm starting with at most a 50 shot.

you can run the fuel tee before, after or if your afpr has a extra port from there

if you are only running a 35-50shot you should not have alot to worried about, I would suggest uses 93octance or high only when using spray and maybe copper plugs but with a 35shot it may not matter

Yeah I only run 93 and I'm getting one step colder plugs.

I am taking every precaution I can....seeing this IS my daily driver.

Can anyone offer some relay advice?

Also, this may or may not be a problem, but my afpr drops INSTANTLY to 0psi once I turn off the car. I know that my buddy's sentra holds the fuel pressure for like an hour.

Is there something wrong with it? I have an Aeromotive (the NPT one).

How to wire a relay
30 - battery
85 - ground
86 - 12v switch source
87 - goes to whatever needs 12v
87a - nothing

are you using a mech or electrical gauge. if electrical install a mech gauge and double check. electrical gauges suck and I try to use mech whenever possible

if you are already using a mech gauge pull the fuel line before and after to make sure there is still pressure and start narrowing down would it could be

OHH I didn't know you were 00. Mine would be wrong then. Do most return people run the AFPR on the feed or return line?

Stock its at the END of the fuel rail....I drilled mine out and put it inline to the ame hose that was attached to it.

On the other end the stock dampener is still in place. Nothing else is changed at all fuelwise, so I should be straight.

Its a mechanical gauge and it drops very quickly. Maybe my pump(stock) is halfway blown? Or somethings up with my afpr...which is much more likely...I hope.
