Here are the humble beginnings of my '89 Max. There's much more to come, a lot of it currently in boxes. I'll update soon.







A few dings and bumper scrapes to clean up, but nothing too scary.

 

I have black Euro headlights w/9007 conversion to install and need to paint the grill to match the body. I'm thinking silver frame and flat black mesh. Also need to find just the right fog lights.

Original Digital Cluster. Works great! Changes from MPH to KPH with the turn of a ****. I also have the HUD.

Original low miles. Got it w/ 34,5K in 2001.

Chrome and CF auto gear shift. Sonar Electronic Suspension Control Buttons (soon to be changed with Eibach/Konis). GXE steering wheel waiting to change with my '90 Z Wheel. Charcoal cloth power D&P seats. Automatic chest belts (do all 3rd gens have these?). Need nice mats, alum. anniversary pedals, and new triangle vents.

Working clock (look, my luckiest number! 108). Original digi-climate control. Original Bose cassette w/cup holder/ tray- soon to be swapped with an Alpine 9857 HU and retractable video screen.

 

Gotta have one of these in the Sunshine State! Anyone know how to get the shade back on the track? What about dying the trim back to gray?

1990 300ZX Non-Airbag Sport Leather-Wrapped Steering Wheel. Now I just have to figure out how to get the rings to match up for the cruise control so I can mount it.

Sunroof spoiler. This thing really vibrates loudly when I drive too fast. Is there a way to get it tighter?

Simple VG engine bay w/ eBay FSTB. If you think it looks good now, just wait a few months!

Red-top Optima battery and half of a PR CAI painted w/ Electro-Static designs by my airbrush artist friend, Jacob. Anyone else want some custom art? PM me. The other half (of the CAI) plus a Stillen cone intake is waiting to be installed.

anyhow... it ain't much but it's something. basically no light out so that's all flash

Back when I had foglights and clear coat.

 

Well, I finally got my wheels on today, but unfortunately my car won't be making it to sunset beach for it's glamor shots. Turns out the wheels center bore is 5.9mm too small so they don't completely fit over the axle, ughhh... But now I'm DEFINITELY getting these in a size that fits, they are teh sexay
