different types of Rims on1997 SE?

Was there different types of rims made on the max ? My rims dont look shy at all and they not as polished as the one that my friend has . My problem is that i need to change one of the rims and now it looks like there different types of them , or maybe someone tried to cleaned them with something bad ?

I've seen them once in person, 10 or 15 times on the org...can't seem to find any right now, though.

I'm pretty sure the ones you've seen were personally dipped.

How's that?

The ones I saw in person, I did a rotate and balance on at the dealer...the lady (older) was listed as the original owner of the vehicle, so I highly doubt she had them chrome dipped.
