ECU Pinout cheat-sheets (large images, 1000+px wide)

Some ECU pinout cheat sheets, if anyone's interested. All images are linked to the full-size versions.

I keep a few of these around (the A32 and Z33, both DE and HR) laminated in my box for doing EMS installs and the like. They're very useful laminated, as you can make notes and mark off spots with sharpie, then just spray it down with brake parts cleaner and comes out looking like new.

Didn't even bother with the '99, since I only have the FSM and no concrete pinout details.

If anyone has a pinout for the VG and VE J30s, I'll make up one for those as well.

Red is power, black is ground...

No, since the ECU pinout in the FSM is incorrect, unless someone cares to give me a link to a known correct pinout.

Should be pin 5, like the rest of the A32s. W/G, IIRC.

As long as it has an A32 ECU and matching harness connector, it should be pin 5.

J31? What country do you live in? USDM 6th gen is A34.

As in the first post:

No idea. It's not like the 5th gen, it's an A32 style connector; the pins are just swapped around.

And IIRC it's only one of the CKPS', not both that are different.

according to dandymax's EU write up its the CKPS(REF). Instead of being pin 44(95-98) It should be pin 46(99).

Does the ECU receive a ground through it's mounting chassis/screws? or is it grounded through the harness/engine ground? Reason I'm asking, I'd like to run with the ECU not in it's chassis.

The ECU grounds solely through the two bolts on the LIM (well there may be some in the dash harness, never bothered to look).

If you've seen my A32 CEL video, my ECU is laying on the passenger side floorboard without issue.

Ok, so I might be off here, but what exactely does the pin-out cheat do for your car. In my case, a bolt on 2000 maxima from NY??

Not a whole lot by itself...
But it can be a very helpful reference when trying to wire up a V-AFCII, E-Manage, etc. for tuning purposes. Getting a good tune could be quite beneficial, IMO.

Indeed, that question confused me, to say the least.

It does nothing for the car, they're just pictures.

No '99 pinout until I can get a definite pinout from a member, or I stumble upon a '99 EC harness and some free time.

If you weren't so far away I'd let you use my car for getting the Pin Out for the '99....
