For whatever reason the forum has not been giving me notifications, nor my app....hmm. First thing I will say is watch out for Jason, his rep isn't so good(google.) Secondly, I will have news by the end of the week(probably sunday) and will have all the details posted here. At this point my thoughts are as follows: DE flash for bolt ons(10-15 whp depending on Octane available locally and mods) Partial flash with Intake cam timing changed and rev limiter raised(for those who have a tuning solution already.) Rev limiter flash(for those who have a tuning solution already.) These will all come at different price points. The DE bolt on tune is essentially finished, and has been dyno'd(made 253WHP on a mustang dyno.) Mods: ebay short ram, obx headers, ebay 2.5 cat back w/ test pipe, BOP, partial nwp spacer kit.

In addition, within the next month or so I will be doing a DE with a 4" intake and GTR injectors(along with the other bolt ons) and also a Altima "HR" swap Maxima that will be running GTR injectors and a 4" intake, so those will both be options down the road.

OMG YES!! Been waiting to see this. Trying to figure out if i should buy the 4inch intake and injectors first then get this or get this and get reflashed later when l have funds available for the 4inch. Problem is l can only do one right now not both. Uhg decisions

Is the 4inch intake and injectors worth it?

Forgot to ask. Your tune keeps throttle open all the way right? Also what are you raising the rev limiter to?

Are you seeing power past the stock rev limiter?

The 02-03 doesn't close the throttle like the later vq. It uses a different ecu. The rev limiter on this ecu flashed de is 7150, but have ran as high as 7400 on a " fwd hr" for some testing. It doesn't make more power past the stock limiter, but shifting higher puts you in a better part of the power band after shifting.

Wait both of mine are 6700rpms. 7150 would be nice to have.

Correct, I was referring to the the ecu that I flashed on a DE engine. Post edited for clarity.

*****UPDATE:******
9-25-16
2002-2003 Maxima 6 speed bolt on tune is as follows:
Rev Limit only flash: $175
Rev Limit and Cam Timing: $225
Full Flash with Cam Timing, Rev Limit, and AFR: $275
The full flash has been tested with a 2002 Maxima with headers(obx), short ram, test pipe, and 2.5" exhaust, and shows approx 10-15 WHP/TQ gains around peak along with very large gains in the midrange(20wTQ), in addition the rev limiter is raised to 7,150RPM.
Dyno results show 253WHP on a mustang dyno, and back to back runs on a stock ecu(with +2 base timing) show 244WHP. Dyno sheets are in the post below.
You would send your ecu into me(and pay shipping) and I will flash it and send it back via priority mail. Turn around will be 2-3 days + shipping time. This can then be plugged back in your car and run(although you will have to clear any codes from the flash.)
The tune is developed to run on 91 octane or higher! Base timing will need to be adjusted to suit the particular octane in your area. Testing was done with a base timing of +2 on 93 octane to enable those with lower octane to remove some base timing if needed.
The first 5 who purchase the "full flash" will be able to get the discounted price of $200.
Please PM me and I will provide my paypal and shipping address. Feel free to post about any questions.
Within the next month or so a tune for HR engines with bolt ons, 4" intake, and GTR injectors will be added to this(cost will be the same for the full flash) as well as adding a tune for the bolt on DE with 4" intake and GTR injectors.

I will not be getting headers for a while. If I get a full flash now, will I have to have it redone after I install headers?

It will work without headers installed, but wont be optimal. However, once the headers are installed it should run as intended.

I've got a bin file from an 01, but don't currently have a car to test with. It may be something that gets worked on sometime soon.

On another note the first ecu is on its way here and should be flashed within the next few days, and off to its new home.

Would a double re-flash be cool? Meaning one now for the full flash and another once you've done the 4"+440's tune? Or would that cost double?

I have a 4" cgr intake, 440's, & bigger fuel pump in the works, just not on the car yet. '03 de not hr. I have the other bolt-ons you mentioned though so I'd pay for a full flash now if I could send it back in again later.

I'm in the same boat. I'm very interested. Another question is does the flash include dbw adjustent similar to the Technosquare flash. If that's possible, I would trade my Utec for this plus I just want simplicity!

DBW adjustment is not needed for the 02-03. Only the later VQ ecus have revlimiting and speed limiting based on the throttle opening(like my 06 g35.)

The 02-03 only uses fuel cut for revlimiting.

There would be an additional charge for a reflash due to shipping, time, etc. Pm me and we can discuss it.
