Thoughts on the camel interior color?

Looking at a 2016 Maxima SR. Low mileage, found one in my price range. Only thing stopping me right now is the interior color. The exterior is white, but I'm not too sure if I like the camel. I test drove it yesterday, at first I liked it, but I'm not sure how I will feel about it overall since I will be owning this car for a while.

What do you guys think? Everyone else I've asked says it look clean. I know that its my car so I should make sure I like it, but doesn't hurt to ask others.

I have this and love it. Be careful with bluejeans and belts, though. They can leave dye transfer. I bought a nice black seat cover to use when wearing jeans and belts that will rub on the back of the seat. works great. I also purchased some good Alcantara suede cleaner that won't damage it. Ultimately, it is something that you're going to have to live with, so I can understand why you'd want to be sure. The camel and white exterior may not pull together well enough in your eyes as maybe a dark exterior color would with camel. The Bronze exterior and camel interior work very well together. The bottom line, it has to be something that clicks well with you personally. As far as keeping it clean, I don't have kids and have strict rules about eating in my car. I don't.

That looks really nice! I am getting the camel interior with white exterior. I think in person it looks a lot better.

I was going to originally get a white SR with camel, but I saw the Service Director's SR that is identical to mine and fell in love with it. I do think the white with camel looks really nice. Post a pic once you get it so we can see it. Just be a picky SOB about your interior.

I picked up some Sonax Upholstery and Alcantara Cleaner. It works very well and smells nice, too. DO NOT clean your Alcantara with water! DO NOT spray fabric sealants of any kind on it! Get you a soft brush, like a shoe shine brush you would use on a fine leather shoe to brush the suede. I use it before vacuuming. The Alcantara will mat over time and become dull. Use the brush to restore the fibers to their upright position every now and then. The steering wheel wrap is most susceptible to matting. Use your brush on that and just brush the suede dry. Don't use any chemicals or liquids to brush with. When you're ready to clean the suede, just follow the instructions on the Sonax cleaner. If you've never had suede in your car before, just know it requires some special hands-on.

Sorry. Not my cup of tea. Camel color is for my baseball glove. Give me dark gray interior and Coulis exterior. Many kudos on that combination, what little time I've had her out in public since the winter started here in Ohio!

If you like it, that is what counts. Also there are others who will like it and others who won't. Who cares what others think? Whatchagonnado if everyone loves the camel color but just hates your V-motion grill, huh? :-)

I was very concerned about the discoloration and matting of the steering wheel suede or whatever it is. I sprayed the bujeezus out of it and the seats with automotive scotchguard and it's worked great for me. You can't tell I used it, seats and steering wheel still feel the same, and the steering wheel has ceased matt and get dirty. Your results may vary, but it's worked great for me........

yea, same thoughts/comments on the camel interior here, pretty much a charcoal/black interior with the white exterior for contrast...but...as what was mentioned, its your car so run with what floats your boat
cheers,

I felt white seats would show dirt and discolorations too easily (especially from my dark blue Levis), so white was out.

I love grey as a seat color, but it is not available on the 8th gen Maxims.

I would have had the camel as third choice, but it is available only on the SR.

So I settled for the black interior. This is the first black interior I have had since my 1949 Studebaker, and I swore I would never again have a black interior, but I had little choice. I have lived with it now for 16 months, and I have gradually adjusted to it. Other than letting the car get hotter when parked in the sun for long periods, the black is fine.
