Hey Everyone! New to this forum and proud new owner of a 2017 SR Maxima. I was hoping to get some help on if the Nissan Emblem on the Trunk can be removed without holes being exposed. I negotiated with dealer to debadge all the chrome off trunk. They removed the "Maxima" and "SR" emblems however they said they could not remove the Nissan Emblem because it would leave 2 holes exposed. I was confused by this since I have seen many photos of Maxima's debadged and can not find one forum or discussion about this. Appreciate the help before I rip someone a new one at the dealer.

As far as I know nobody took it off. I saw a few people did some plasti dip,black painting and that’s about it.. kinda blended it with the grill.

Appreciate the fast response NisCal17! For the front grill I agree... only seen one guy on here who is a beast redo the front nf it looked amazing. But for the trunk I have seen tons (pics attached)

 

Ahh the rear emblem.. I think it’s glued. I saw Sentra with no emblems..

 

All the bashing in the rear is double sided tape. A heat gun and some goo gone and your gd. First mod I did on mine when I bought her.

 

Thanks for replying Mikey! Just actually was at the dealer today and they took it off. Next week I have the front stillen splitter, diffuser, exhaust and intake from Stillen showing up. Will probably be wrapping them in Avery Dennison carbon wrap and doing full chrome delete with the carbon. Will be posting pics shortly after

How did you smoke out your rear tail lights?
