I saw quite a few of forum members black-out front grille chrome trim, door handles, badges...with paint or wrap. Now you can buy Nissan OEM parts and swap to your ride. I am not into black-out the whole car but I like the new black-out front grille to get rid of the "jaw dropping" face.
I see they are new for 2018 midnight package but I can’t seem to find those parts listed online for purchase. Link?
All parts can be found using the Nissan part lookup. Three options come up for the SR front grille. It is not clear which code is for the midnight package. Be advised that the 2018 midnight edition has more equipment than before and is no longer visual upgrades only, i.e. around view monitor, dimming driver mirror, etc. I would do some research on compatibility depending what you want to upgrade before attempting to interchange parts.

Reason: Typo
? Where are you seeing these parts available for sale as standalone accessories or replacement parts? I can clearly see the midnight edition package for a 2018 but looking for the individual front grill as a replacement part I can’t find anything.

Typical for any and all parts, they can be found through the Nissan parts eStore. Set the year, vehicle, model, and trim and you can find what you are looking for based on the category/location on the vehicle - easy to use fairly straightforward. The numbers on the reference images are reference numbers only which direct you to the actual part number. The front grille is probably part 62310-9DE0A based on the required package and production date, but don’t take my word for it. Can’t paste the direct link with embedded content so you will have to navigate a little.

Looks like choice 1 and choice 3 from the diagram above are possible black-out grille for the 2018 SR Midnight Edition. I looked up those part numbers on Google and Ebay but no actual picture to be seen yet. Maybe we have to wait a little longer for it to pop up on Ebay.

No worries. The site is not perfect, and sometimes it takes a little time for parts to be updated. Just checked the badging parts out of curiosity, and the required package ”SPOI7“ comes up as the only other option on the SR, so it would be safe to assume that is the code for the new midnight edition package.
Should the midnight grille be a direct fit for a 2016 maxima S? I was just backed into and they cracked my grille so I want to replace it with the midnight one instead..
website says 2017-2019 but im assuming thats because midnight edition didnt start until 2017. Should be the exact same hopefully.
should be okay, noticed the bumper item number is the same for 16'17'18 so i should be all good . Opted to cash out the insurance claim and just replace the grill myself and keep the excess. Hopefully I run into no issues! I dropped the bumper today and everything looked fine... besides all the broken grill tabs. bumper tabs were all okay.. luckily! since i was in there took out the headlights and replaced my high beams and turn signals with LEDs..
swapped out the damaged chrome grill for a new midnight edition grill on my 2016, wasnt that hard. glad I decided to cash out the insurance and do that myself.. shame i had to drill license plate holes, i know ill get a ticket instantly here not worth it. It's really stupid that there is a tow hook cover but no threads behind it.. would love to use that instead :\

do you think it's safe to say that the 62310-4ra0d is the one with surround view? Does it even matter? I'm trying to install on a platinum trim. Thanks?

Yes it will matter, only the 18+ has the option of the around view monitor on the SR Midnight. You will need the grille with the camera built into the front emblem on your platinum. I haven’t bought one so don’t hold me to the part number. If you search other parts, like badging for example, it comes up with “required packages” which leads me to believe SPOI7 is the package. “9D” is also the new(er) designation for parts. I would call and ask to be sure.

Did you purchase the Blackout Grille for your Platinum edition? If so what is the correct part number for the blackout grille with camera view?
Thanks!

To my eyes the blackout front grill looks way more "jaw dropping". Nothing to break of the expanse of that maw!
