Sorry, it's 10 inHg

Just wondering where else should I look for leaks? The plumbing as well? Btw I saw as high as about 5-6 lbs of boost before the BOV purged. Should I readjust my Blitz BOV?

I used that teflon sealing tape and wrapped around those tiny ferrules to make the connections air tight before connecting everything. I T'ed it to the hose that runs to the Hobbs switch.

Hey Ian, I remember about your dilemma...how many lbs are you running now?

15 in P
12-13 in D

I never did figure it out - talked to a mechanic and he said some cars just have low vacuum, but I still don't really believe that.

I replaced most of my vacuum system, checked compression, resealed piping, used RTV and new gaskets on the netire manifold, etc, etc....never did find it.

After driving my wife to work I noticed my boost stayed at 9 in. HG for the longest time. Popped the hood and found a hose had disconnected from the T fitting!
I retightened the hose clamp and rechecked all connections and I got a reading of 17.5 in.HG! Now I'm pleased, however, isn't the vacuum/boost pressure based on the pulley size? So, is this a normal reading for 3.33"?

marisGrasMax has a 2.86" Pulley, and pulls 20Hg....it's all about the engine - the butterfly for the throttle is closed.

So no, pulley size doesn't affect it.

Well, driving this morning I see the needle got as high as 21Hg when letting off of the gas. During the course of the drive the needle sure fluctuates alot.

Now I'm wondering if playing with the BOV adjustment screw will make any differences?

The BOV made little difference for me.....it only changes my vacuum and boost readings if it's fully open - no difference between 3/4 open all the way down to completely closed.
