About 2 weeks ago I heard it let go and thought I was screwed. Pulled over, and saw that the belt was still on there. Not only was I down the usual 1 rib, but I now had a 3 rib belt.

Even in that condition, I drove on it for over a week (including boosting) witout a single problem! They never slip, I couldn't make it snap despite my best efforts...they rock. I _highly_ doubt many other belts would have hung on like this.

Last weekend when changing it, I snapped the oil feed inlet fitting for the blower, so I've been NA all week. It sucks. I should get my fitting early next week so I can put the blower back together. On interesting note is that the car runs just fine NA with the 370cc injectors on its own...just a lower FP.

And no, I don't have an alignment problem. I was using the wrong size belt for my pully and couldn't get proper tension. I knew this day was coming, I just wanted to see how long it would take. Since my commute is only 4 miles, I wasn't worried about getting stranded. :)

what size belt are you using w/that 3.125 pulley or what is the correct size? 703? or 705? I installed a 703 and boy was it a very tight fit.

mine just did that too, i didnt have any tools otherwise i coulve done the same thing

IIRC it was a 710. I have a 695 that I'm putting on it once I get that fitting from Vortech.

so K060695 for sure then? When installing Max4speeds blower he had I belive a 705. That was a tad too big. so 695. Let me see if I can ask allgo what did he have cause what ever he had was a very tight fit.

Not "for sure" yet. I haven't installed it. I was going to when I broke that fitting.
