fuel pressure gauge

I just installed an adjustable fmu and will also be installing a fuel pressure gauge. I just needed to know off what fuel line do I need to put the gauge on before or after the fmu?after the fuel pump? its just a T fitting that taps in the fuel line the gauge will also be under the hood just to tune the fmu. thanks in advance

Your best bet is on the inlet hose to the fuel rail (assuming you are using an intank pump).

You want it after the fuel pump, and before the FPR and FMU.

I have 2 pumps the one in the tank and the inline pump that comes with the s/c kit.

The fuel pressure gauge goes right after the fuel filter, before the fuel rail. The FMU is on the return line.

be careful with "right after the fuel filter" if his inline pump is underhood.

Again... you want the gauge after the pumps, and before the FMU/FPR (so, before the fuel rail)

do you really need an actual pic?

tank--->pump--->filter---->gauge--->rail--->injectors--->pressure regulator--->return line---->tank

your gauge should be before the rail.

Never seen how an inline pump is installed, didn't think it would go under the hood.

This is a really bad pic, but it shows you what you need. The fuel pressure sensor taped into the fuel line with a T-fitting right after the fuel filter. Mine is electric not mechanical

I reached for my reading glasses when I saw that pic, but the glasses didn't help any.
