You sure thats a 2k2? or a 00-01? Either way it looks really good. Is he having any trouble with the mafs near the turbo.

SonicDust187 Jul 17, 2005 11:38 AM

Thats a 00-01. Not 2k2.

Nealoc187 Jul 17, 2005 12:05 PM

I would say nice pics except I can't see anything lol blur.

Just kiddin, though the pics are really blurry :D Nice job though, and yeah thats an 00-01 not an 02.

Royal_T Jul 17, 2005 12:21 PM

jeremykedel Jul 17, 2005 12:24 PM

Yeah my cam sucks it seems. I need a new one damn sales, lol. Thanks royal_t yeah is a a 2000.

I havent had any problems with the maf there. WOrks great actually runs hard strong and fast.

DA-MAX Jul 18, 2005 05:41 AM

nice setup

Stephen Max Jul 18, 2005 06:20 AM

Very nice, but I'm worried about the maf being so close to the turbo, too.

Blu Jul 18, 2005 06:23 AM

I agree, how well is the plastic maf going to hold up once the heat gets to it?

jeremykedel Jul 18, 2005 07:13 AM

Hasnt had anytrouble yet i t has made a few distance runs for like 5 hours at a time road trips and stuff. still looks like new.

Blu Jul 18, 2005 07:21 AM

thats good to hear especially in the Flordia heat. I would still keep a pretty close eye on it though.

IceY2K1 Jul 18, 2005 09:22 AM

Are those OZ Hydra rims?

If so, what size and have anymore body shots of them?

jeremykedel Jul 18, 2005 09:49 AM

Oooh yeah, I would definately put a heat shield between there or something... I know a member of this board who melted the crap out of his underhood fuse box and some other stuff with the turbo like 6" from it... as opposed to like a half inch for you. He was road racing at the time which is obviously going to generate more heat than a single highway run or whatever, but with how close you have that it is something you should probably work on.

The maf aint going to last past 10psi on the charged side, shouldve put it on the intake side of the turbo. Ask me how I know.

I took my setup upto 16psi and intake side was fine. Blipped it once at 10psi on the charged side and blew the MAF.

Dixit

jeremykedel Jul 21, 2005 05:57 AM

Well i figured it would runn better on the charge side. because the reading would be more constant and accurate. i can always change it if i need too.

I've run way more than 10psi on the charged side for quite a while now though.

Yeah but i think the 5th gen maf is a little more sensitive. Thats why stillen changed the supercharger pipping for the 5th gen to where the maf would be on the inlet side

jeremykedel Jul 21, 2005 06:09 PM

I can always change it wouldnt take to much to do.
