00vi with Sc'er question

I picked my car up from xotic motorsports yesterday because i needed it since the family is moving. But he has the 00vi wired up so the EU can control the acctuators but he asked me what to do with the Vacume part of it that would open the butterfly valves. Since after 2000 rpm he said the charger would put positive pressure it would open the VI right away. What should i tell him to do when i take the car back up there to have the rest of the work done?

that's what the vacuum canister is for... i believe the 00vi has a built in vac canister. if it does, you use that, if it doesn't you need to get a vac canister...

Wires up with a Spare Injector Clip, if you have one, and you leave the front vaccum port open to air. You can connect it to intake stream air, but NOT Vaccum. Use the NVCS Map on the Emanage Ultimate and select ON for when you want it open.

Brings up an interesting question for the SC'd 00VI's: does the 00VI's internal vacuum 'canister' sort of mimic the brake system's vacuum booster in that it has a built-in check valve to hold a vacuum in the canister even when the SC goes into boost mode?

There is a check valve. Without it the tank would get pressurized by atmospheric air (never mind boost) as soon as you opened the throttle up, and then when the solenoid tried to activate at 5000 rpm there'd be no vacuum to move the rod.
