Sparkplugs on a Boosted Maxima

Im in the process of tuning my boosted Maxima and I was wondering what sparkplugs would you guys recommended for my application. I know a few guys who have been boosted for a while, and Im sure y'all have y'alls preferences. (OEM specifications, 2 step colder, etc) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

JWT recommends stock plugs or one step colder with a 0.025 gap. I just set my gap to 0.025 and the car started up much better then when gapped at 0.044.

NGK Coppers, 1 step colder.
Gap will be determined on your boost levels. You alwasy want to run the biggest gap possible without experiencing blow out.
Im gapped @.028 but when i was making 10lbs of boost I was gapped @ .034

Good info. Thanks. What is the part number? Or can you just ask for them by the description above?

How do you determine how much you need to gap them. Sorry for all the noob questions. I've gone once into boost and it reached 10-11 lbs.

Start with .034 and see how that does, Im sure it will be pretty good. If so, try opening them up just a bit untill you feel the car hesitating a little in the upper rpms when going WOT, when you do back the gap down a bit.

Found it. Good stuff peeps. Thanks a lot! Car should be up on the dyno for a tune in the next few weeks. Here's the link in case anyone stumbles upon my thread looking for the same answer.

One step colder copper plugs:

NGK # BKR6E-11
Nissan # 22401 - 50Y06

two step colder
NGK # BKR7E-11

The -11 part of the NGK number is multiplied by .004" to get the gap size for an engine producing stock hp. This would make the stock gap 0.044". Most people with SC's and such are running 0.034" - 0.038" in order to further reduce tendency for detonation.

LFR5AIX-11 HEAT RANGE 6 (those are the one step colder plugs) what boost are you running? If low boost then its OK....if you running high boost might want 2 steps colder. I'm running 7 psi so one step colder iridium is just fine.

I'll probably run somewhere between 10-12 lbs, but my intercooler pipe is smaller(diameter-wise).

I was just curious if anybody is finding one step colder's between this price range (1.20-1.99) still.. I was just quoted 2.77 a piece. Just wanna be sure that these prices are what's to be expected in these "times."
