Need help on my gt28rs turbo

I have noticed people have used oil for most feeds and returns
I'm using the ve30de motor
I have my return to the pan and wondering where I can my feed from?

I've never heard of anyone NOT using oil in a turbo. No offense, but are you ready for turbo?

This is the easiest way. +1

Otherwise you will need to drill into the block somewhere and have a fitting done up.

Oil return location is not terribly important, as long as it can be correctly gravity fed and not get blocked up. Best to ensure ur fittings are large enough for this.

Akaik the VQ30det and vq30det have a large frame t28 turbo. A larger style t28 will do fine for a 3l running low boost. It will defiantly want to lose toward the top end, but should provide some quick low down boost.

A small frame 28 turbo would be interesting, but i guess it all depends on what spec 28 turbo you are using.

a large frame gtx28 with .86 housing would go hard on a 3l,

without knowing details of his turbo it all speculation. It will be better than NA for sure, but won't break any dynos.

turbo is not always better than N/A. Think about the cost for the whole setup, he'd probably make more power spending that same amount on an N/A setup than with that turbo.

If you're gonna spend that kind of money, Go big or Go home!

In a rear mount you get rid of the oil lines for that turbo but you have to run water lines instead, not much of an advantage over running oil lines imo. Please advise.

Actually it is an advantage cause you can have an independent cooling loop setup in your trunk, similar to the way you water cool a water to air intercooler. I gotta look into this setup, sounds interesting...
