FS: *NEW* V1 S/C Plate Kits...

For more Information Please Check here. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=312870

Part list other than my Kit needed: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=341026

As you know Stillen has discontinued the Supercharger kit for the 95-01 Nissan Maxima. The only real way to get a Supercharger kit for your maxima is to buy it used, or build your own kit. Well finding a plate that works with the Vortech blower is kind of tough...

For the past few months I have been gauging interest on a plate kit that is an Exact Replica of the 9 year old V1 Plate that Stillen Produced. This plate is notorious for being Really Reliable, unlike the comman V2 Kits that have melting pullies and Shredding Belt Problems.
The V2 Plates are made of Aluminum and when exposed to heat, it tends to shift a tad bit while boosting. While the plate is slowly moving away from the motor, that crucial blet alignment, that you spent hours getting perfect with shims and washers (on the V2 kit only), tends to get out of wack and shredding your belt is very comman.

The major advantage in buying the kit directly from me is that you will have a Super Reliable SuperCharger Kit, NO shredding Belt Issues, and the Major advantage is that you can build a kit on a budget. Spending $3500 from Stillen was never fun. With this kit, you can have a Full Kit, the way you like it, for less then $2500...

The Plate Kits are professional made by a CNC Machinest. They are an exact replica of the 12 year old V1 Kit that was sold by Stillen.

**V1 Full Starter Kit:**

- Idler Pulley Bolt
- Full Bolt Kit...

**Plate to Engine
- Nissan Modfied Drain Back Housing

V1 Starter Kit Price:

+$200 Optional Nickle Coating

**V1 Convertion Kit:** Converting From V2 To V1 Due to Belt Shredding Issues**Very Common with the V2 Kits**

This is the Convertion Kit, but you can still produce a Full kit out of by adding the parts above.

You can wait, if you like, for the Drain Back plates to be made. The "Starter Kit" will include the Full V1 Plate Kit, Full Bolt Kit for Blower to Plate, and Plate to Motor, and the Custom Drain Back Plate I'm having made. That will be a tab bit more money for the "Starter Kit" compaired to the Convertion Kit

Matt I'll wait for the starter kit. Thanks again for putting this together. Now I can still reach my goal of 300HP. Look what I missed out on since I had to work this morning. My bid was for $800.00. I knew I should of stayed up till it ended.

I was looking at the same blower unit. The thing that steared me away from it was that the owner didnt know what Trim it was from Vortech. If its a smaller trim than the S, like the ones they use for the Civic, then you would be an Un-happy camper

Keep looking..they are on there alot

Once I get the drain back Plates, the rest of the kit is very easy to peice together.

Like I stated above, everything else can be had for < $1200 Including the blower.
SS Feed line, Rubber Drain Line (nissan part), Fittings + Couplings, Vortech V1 or V2 Blower (Counter Clockwise Rotation, Straight Discharge), Charge Pipe 3" or 2.5", FMU (Vortech or Cartech), Fuel pump (Walbro In-tank), BOV (any type you want). All these can be had for < $1200 including blower

Hey guys, I have mine too. The guy added a bunch of extra welds to make the posts stronger. The edges on the plate are clearer too.

I would post my pics up, but I wasn't able to make it nice and shiny yet. I was going to use some polish to clean it completely before I paint it.

Yeah I think so except you will need a blow off valve that resircolates back into the piping instead of releasing into the air.

But if you want headers which will really open this up, you won't be CARB legal.

It all depends on how fast these sell out after the new year. I expect people to start being interested in putting money up after the holidays. I put this out a bit before the holidays to peak people interestes but I know the kind of bills people have.

If they do sell out, I can do another run of em.

Thats whats good about this kit..You can make the setup however you want.

When you get to doing the blow off valve, all you will need to do it recirculate the air out of the BOV back into the intake stream before the blower using a peice of tubing. No biggy at all

Sweet. Getting rid of the turbo and going this route!

JK......but your product looks like very nice quality from the pics. If it really is freesable to get blown form less than $1500 I can't see why ton's of people wouldn't do it. Shoot, Cattman headers would cost that much installed.

where would I be able to get the parts other than the Blower? Do you know of anyone who can make a charge pipe? Where do I get the couplers, fittings, rubber drain pipe, SS feed line?

YOU can make it !
22" to 24" will work
A charge pipe can easily made with 3" pipeing from ATP Turbo, or Burns Stainless. The upper bend can be made from any 3" 90 degree bend cut a bit.

ATPTurbo.com for all the Silicone Couplers once you decide between 3" or 2 1/2".

The Rubber Drain line is a Stock Nissan part. Front bank of Cylinders, Vent Tube..I dont have the Part number. The SS Feed line can be made out of any type of SS Line. I recommend using a NOS 4ft SS Fuel feed line. It's really inexpensive at a local parts shop.

All these answers can be easily answered in the other Thread. I have alot of Valuable Information in the other thread as we discussed the additional partes needed. Alot of these parts arent writen in stone, you can do it 1000 different ways with 1000 differnt parts

Can you do something for me. Stick a magnet to it. If it stays is carbon steel. If it doesn't it's stainless. If not it's stainless. This effects my chances of electroplating it.

It is Magnatized. The plates can be painted or Nickle Coated fairly easily. Doing the project in Stainless would be nearly a 1/3 more in cost

The "Starter Kit" that I will add when I recieve the Drain Back plates will be a really Sweet Setup. It will include everything listed above: Plus ALL the Bolts needed for "Plate to Motor" and ALL Bolts needed for "Blower to Plate", and of course the Oil Drain Back Plate. It will be a seperate kit from the "Conversion Kit".

Remember guys, I cant setup the entire S/C kit for you ! One reason is because I dont have several thousands of dollars to go around and source parts for several kits and second, I'm in school and work 30 hrs a week. By doing it yourself, you will learn alot about your car, alot about the setup, and save a considerable amount of money.

omg, forget exhaust, at 2000< supercharger is the way to go, just run stock power and as u upgrade exhaust u upgrade pulley size, kind of like warming up the engine to real power .

that charge pipe was the only thing that worried me. thought we would have to purchase seperate from stillen or something.

Stillen Inventory

Has anyone considered negotiating with Stillen to purchase all of the leftover parts and pieces associated with their VQ30 superchargers for cheap, like 25¢ on the dollar? Something like that would have to be a decision by someone much further up their food-chain than Adam Hume. But as a business proposition, once they decided to discontinue the product and have sold off the last of the complete kits, bulk disposal of the rest of that inventory might make good sense (at least to someone with a sharp business mindset like Steve Millen).

question is that all the bolts and nuts we need? We just use the bolts from the timing chain cover to secure the plate?

NO. You will need longer M6 bolts and M10 bolts to reach the Timing cover. All the bolts you need will be included in the Starter Kit along with washers or they can added to the "Convertion Kit". The reason they're not included in the convertion kit is because the people purchasing the "Convertion Kit" will already have a full V2 kit. But will want to Invest in the V1 Plate Setup so they'll have a Worry FREE, Belt Shredding FREE, Blower Setup...

I added the Case Bolts and the bolts for the "Plate to Blower" so its one less thing you will need to worry about. The Drain back plate is also being added so no-body will have to make the crusial desicion on what Angle to put the drain port on, worry about getting it welded, and worry about purchasing more then one water pump cover from Nissan incase they mess up.
