I was thinking about this too as I was looking for 18's...they're quite expensive being 18"x8" and they do have the same pattern and offset so it should theoretically work. Speedometer will prolly be off maybe like 2-5 mph, but who cares when you got sweet wheels like that!

I was all ready to buy them till I heard all this BS from two diffrent Nissan stealerships how they wouldn't fit right and the front wheels would be hitting the fender wall etc and in the long run you would have problems so I decided to get 2K3 rims. So you might wanna check on this with your dealerships before u go out and buy them. Tho they will prolly tell u the same answer they told me, you might have problems but you won't know till you put them on so your best bet is find someone with a Z or Z rims that will you try the rims on.

Now I'm convinced that the Stealership only tell us about possible problems and doesn't help us so much ! Beware MaximaGLE1, the stealership may be is trying to sell you aset of expensive wheels !

No no, I wasn't planning to buy rims from there. Their prices over there are outrageous. 900$ for one Z rim with no tire. Crazy... I had a deal for 4 brand new ones with tires for 8 bills shipped. Problem was he was at NY, I was at IL so there was no way to try em on....

1SFTMAX - no offense or anything but that pic looks photeshopped... other than that they look great.

Dude thanks for giving me the link to this forum. And if you have 2K3 wheels, your car looks just as good. I'm partial to the six spokes. I don't know why. Maybe it's a balance of the universe thing with there being an even number of spokes or something. But they just look soooo good. Like I read somebody else sayin, they're neat and simple. Understated. Refined. Elegant. Well, not so elegant cause when I see em I automatically think sport. But you get my drift. Hey what's the offset on the 350Z 17s?

In an ebay auction for the 17s I read that they are 30 mm on the front and 33 mm on the back. The fronts and rears on the 18s are 30 mmm but the fronts have 18X8 offset 30 F and the rears have 18X8 offset 30 R on them. I have a guess, but anyone care to explain that to me? Do you have all the same wheels or what, 1FSTMAX?

That one guy put 17s on. 18s shouldn't be a problem except that Z rims are pretty heavy as it is and 18 will be more weight but it will look pimped. Where are you planning to get the 18s from?

All the 350z Wheels are 30mm offset. I used 17x7.5 all around, but the 350z comes with 17x7.5 in the front and 17x8 in the back.

At the risk of having someone buy them before I can, I've been checking back and forth on ebay. I'm not ready to buy just yet. Won't be for a few months. So maybe if somebody buys these there will be more by the .0time.I'm ready to buy. Anyway, 7.5 and 8.0 sounds more like what they should be. One ebay auction had some it said were all 18X8. The fact that two have R and two have F written on them would lead me to believe they are actually different, 18X8 and 18X7.5. But let me know what you find out, dude.

Aight got some good news/bad news. Bad news is he sold the rims already but good news the person he sold it to drives a 2003 Altima. I emailed the person and he says he has no problems what so ever..... I guess that is the answer to your question because Altima 2K3 rims and up fit on a Max fine so if Z rims fit on a Altima with no problems I'm guessing same could be said about a 4th gen Max.

no problem here with the Z wheels. Heres how they look on my max below. No rubbing at all. I have an extra set for sale. They are all 17X7.5 with 225/50R17 Breidgestone RE040 tires. Almost new. You heard me right. All 4 rims and tires are the same size. 2 rear wheels and tires were replaced with 17X7.5 with 225/50R17 tires to match the front wheels when my friend bought his car. So all 4 wheels have the same specs. They have less then 50 miles on them and are sitting in my garage. I have the exact wheels on my car and I have no problems whatsoever. no rubbing and no scratching. These are my friends that I am selling. let me know if anyone is interested. here's the link to my thread. More pics on the thread too.

If you haven't figured it out already, the link has a period in there that should not be there. Copy the link without the period or copy the whole thing and just delete the period when you put it in your address field.

So how long should the fronts last seeing as how you can't rotate? I guess it's a good thing they're a bit cheaper than the backs, too, since thay wear faster.

Someone tell me again what the tire sizes are on the 350Z. I looked on edmunds for standard equipment and it says for the performance hatchback they are all four 18X8. Only the stock tires are a little wider on the rear wheels than the fronts. Here's the link: 350Z Performance So I guess if you just buy the wheels by themselves you can put whatever size you want on there and make them all the same for easy rotation, right?
