245/45/18 - Rear / 235/45/18 - Front

I'm thinking about putting 245's on back and 235's on front.

Has anyone done this? Can anyone provide recommendations?

Is this a good idea?...just looking at my 2001, it appears to have
more room in back than in front. Plus, with a deep dish rim, it
might look cool....whatever...

Thoughts!!??

Why is the world would you want to do that? You have a front wheel drive car, not a rear wheel drive car.

WHy not try using wheel spacers in the back instead? That way you can save money on tires every time you rotate. I think asthetically it would look nicer.

Good points! I didn't consider the wheel spacer option. Thanks!

Spacers aren't usually the best method to getting your wheels to stick out further. A correctly set-up offset and backspacing is, however. Spacers can put more load on the hub than what it was intended for, and can cause premature wheel bearing wear. I don't know of anyone that this has happened to, but I got this advice from more than a couple people who seemed to know their ****e.

Oh, and don't do the staggered wheel size thing. It looks good on a rwd, but looks dumb on a fwd. Plus, then you can't rotate the tires. I'm sure it would only make your car understeer worse than it already does.

Is wheel spacer a clip where you clip on to the spring to make it look lower and less wheel gap????....

No, a wheel spacer is a **** that goes between the hub and the wheel to make the wheel stick outwards further.
