$950 for rims, what should I do?
 

I currently have $950 in money. My Maxima is nothing special right now, and I wanted to either put some rims on my car, or lower my car. What do you think I should do first? You should see how bad my hubcaps look. They are of course the stock plastic ones that have lost their shine and look ugly (they are 15" in diameter). I went to tirerack.com and looked at the rims there. I like these ones:

Do you think those would be good, or are they kind of bad quality? I would get the 235/45-17s which are supposedly recommended for my car.

Or, like I said before, should I do suspension first, and lower it a bit, make it look cool? But then again I will have to live with those nasty wheels longer till I get more money.

If you lower the car you'll need aftermarket shocks.

Also, search function is your friend.

it depends which one you want more...to me it seems like u want rims more cuz u got hubbys on. So go for the rims. But I'd personally prefer to get springs and shocks.

See if you can get your hands on a set of
KYB GR-2 w/ Eibach Springs. Couple that with a set of 17" 2k+ Maxima SE rims and Continental Conti ExtremeContact 235/45/17 variety. Good combo:thumbsup: I dont mean to tell you how to spend your money...but...we'll call it advice :newbie:

My wheel/tire combo's pretty cheap. $900 for my 18" Rota Subzero with 235/40-18. After driving 225wide tires, I think 235 is what maximas should be paired with.
