19's or 20's?

I'm probably getting the falken torque 5 rims and i do not know whether to get 19's or 20's..what you guys think..they are chrome by the way

19"s playa, then you can be a balla like Kloogy. Naw, j/k, actually I seen 20's on a Max and I think they look too big for it.
Plus it makes the Max sit up like a mini SUV.

If you're going for chrome, 20's is a must.

I like those rims...looks hot in chrome or gunmetal. I'd say 19's on the Max, but you can pull 20's off too...

Nathan Mar 11, 2004 08:49 PM

I'd go with 19's. If roads in your area are mint, do 20's.

KLOOGY Mar 11, 2004 10:39 PM

19's or 20's wont make a difference with roads....both will roll on 35 series tires.....What do you want ? A baller pimp Max, or a baller Max that is on teenage rims....., and can still smoke ricers ?? Its your choice.....

maxspeed96CT Mar 12, 2004 07:47 AM

go with 19s and a small drop.

2k2maxpower Mar 12, 2004 08:22 AM

i think i am going with the 19's becuase 20's will probably look to big and i'd have to drive way to carefully

prolly want to stick some 245/40's on there, philly roads are terrible, and will eat your wheels alive

BLACKonBLACK98 Mar 12, 2004 09:51 AM

whoa... this is the first time i've seen someone not get flamed to death for mentioning 20s. happy day. the real question is 20s or 21s?

Really? I've spoken to a few members here that have done it, lowered, with no issue....I plan to do it as well due to the crappy roads up here....only thing that is going to be really affected is the speedo error...
