Yokohama Avid V4s on stock SE rims 225/50-17. Like them, good wearing, low noise, good grip. Wet performance is also good.

Toyo T1Rs are "R-compound" tires and will always be grippier than more standard tires, however they're gonna wear ALOT faster than the Goodyears.

I'm at 132K now and the grip is starting to wear off my Pilot A/S. I guess this shows this tire is roughly a 50k deal. maybe more rotations thoughout their life would have gotten me to 60k, but still not shabby.

Can anyone offer some feedback on these tires

Nexen N5000
Falken ZE-912 (replacements to the 512 but better treadwear)
Kumho Solus KH16

I am in Canada and get some snow. I have found the Nexen N5000 off ebay at $333 US shipped which is cheap but will I regret it........

I gotta buy 8 tires, 4 for a Xtrail SUV in 215/65/16 so I was considering Kumho KH16 for that vehicle and N5000 for the SE or Kumho KH16 for both. I need longer life tires not ones that wear out after 25Kmiles

I'm now on Goodyear eagle F1 All-seasons.

awesome awesome awesome grip so far in everything (haven't tried snow yet) and in the rain they are among the best tire I've ever experienced. they act like it's dry out in all but the deepest puddles!

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S(OZ Superleggera 17x8), BFgoodrich traction t/a(stock se rims), and previously on my OZ's i had dunlop sp9000.

Pilot's are one of the best A/S tire ive ever used. I find they attract nails though, and they dont last long lol. But for the time ive enjoyed them, id definatley buy them again, awesome tires!
