22's on a 3rd gen

i am seriously considering skipping 20's and trying to go for 22's on my 92 max. im seeing maxes of different generations in photo galleries on the net. what are these people doing to get their cars lifted up.performance is not an issue because its not a racing car. its just for my own custom identity. if someone mentioned that the 95-99 struts will let it sit higher, is it true. so far I have seen the nitto 255/30zr22 so the main thing is the lift.

you are gonna get flamed i dont see the point i would spend the money on a set of amazing 20s before getting 22s maybe you should get an SUV

good luck is all i have to say and you will have to jack your car up so high to fit 22s because i dont think your wheel well is big enought from side to side to hold 22s. you will have to do some fender bending and cutting. i had 255/35/20s tires on my dubs, and it wasnt even close to tucking. unless you can get tires that are closer to 235/25/22 then you may have a chance, but they dont make that.. but plan on jacking your car up a good 4-6 inches, i had my back jacked up 2-3 inches. you will never get 255s to tuck on your car unless you roll the finders way out. just go buy some 235or225/35/20s and put them on a 7.5 inch dub and drop it like 2 inches, you will look huge on a 3rd gen.

you will just look retarted

I can't wait to see this...OMG I'd drive it. That would be the craziest sh!t ever. $10 says that the wheels stick out of the fenders at least 5 inches on each side of the car.

This forum has reached an all new low. But I want to see just how rediculous this is going to look as well :wall:

I like 22's, but on a Max? To put it nicely, it'll look ridiculous...

HAHAAAAAAAAAAAA, buy a 2k4 max

Ammi Oct 19, 2004 04:27 PM

Please, stop being so :007:. If you must have 22s, get an SUV.

akaxmrxhammer Oct 19, 2004 06:54 PM

if you must need to put 22" rims on a max, go with a 2k4. you have more than enough room. you can even drop it with 22" rims.

The reason all those ghettomobiles look lifted with their 24's is because they are, they use truck lift kits or put blocks between the spring and the axle in the rear to lift the car so those monster wheels will fit. If that's really what you want buy a Caprice, you can't do it with a Maxima or any other unibody car.

Man just sell your car and buy a truck or suv. :repost2:
