@soon2bgr8...
I just scored a set of 18's with 215/40/18 Dunlop Sport tires on them. I had to go back to the stock springs because one of the lowering springs I bought broke after I had them installed, but it was just before I got these wheels. I checked the link to the tire size calculator before I picked up these wheels, and with my wheel/tire combination, the speedo (when it's working), according to the website, is 0.8% too fast, meaning that when the speedo says 60mph, I'm really going 59.5mph.
Check out my website on p.9 and see if you like how they look. I'm planning on getting 225/45/18 when these start to wear out... I've only had the wheels on for about 2 days, but had to drive a good 70 miles on them to get home after I put them on. Tires weren't too loud and the ride was smoother than with the lowered springs.
It's all up to you, though. You gotta drive it, and if you're happy that's all that matters

That's way too small and it will ride like holey hell. Good luck NOT bending your rims

@Jeff92se...
Should I stick with a 40-series tire on these wheels, or should I look to move up to the 45-series when the time comes? I obviously don't want to run the risk of denting these bad boys...
Thanks!

Check out the tire calculator on the wheel/tire forum. It will tell you what different combos will get you near the stock dia tire. I would say a 40 series is about as thin as you should go. But it all depends. In CA, you got better roads than the East Coast guys

go with the widest profile you can go with. I have 18 x 7.5 rims and the tires are 225/40/18 and every freaking little bump and crack in the street is fully transfered to my a$$. I heared that you can go with 245/40/18 without any diameter problems but don't know if that is going to have a better ride quality than 225/40/18
