Riding on aftermarket 16s? Post pics please.

I'll be getting 16s soon, Kazeras to be specific, so I wanted to see some pics of people with a drop riding on 16 inchers. Let's see them.

Not dropped, but Kazera 16's.

Holy crap. Those are the exact same rims I'm getting. =D Please tell me you have larger pics.

NYPD-Arnold 01-23-2005 08:03 AM

No. F*ck that. Move this thread back to the 5th gen forum. The wheels forum is frigin dead. I need replies, not a dead thread. Come on!

just out of curiosity, why do you want to put 16's on the car? It will have an adverse effect on the handling of your vehicle, since you will need tires with a higher sidewall...just wondering.

NYPD-Arnold 01-23-2005 10:29 PM

Straight line performance.

17's to 16's...and sickass lightweight Kazeras no less...

It probably does make the handling less sharp, since you do add to the sidewall flex. But they're my winter rims. I went with 16's because both the wheels and tires are cheaper in 16". Plenty of cars come stock with 16s, and true, they are Camry's and the like that probably aren't as sporty in the handling department. Did 4th gens come with 16s? The ride is smoother with more sidewall to absorb the bumps. The only problem is that I can't get a BBK, but I wasn't really planning on that anyway.
And I do some slightly larger pictures. PM me your e-mail address and I'll send them to you.

And I thought I was cheaping out with the Kazera's :woot:

NYPD i agree with you..thats why i changed my mind from 19's to 18's to 17's..im going with 17's now..better performace..better ride..and also i think when a max has 18's or 19's..people tend to concenrate more on the rim not the car..plus 17's flow much better..18's or 19's are way too bulky and not efficienct for anything

Aren't the wheels part of the car?

Too bulky? How so? Efficient? Which wheels are considered "efficient"?

roll4life 01-24-2005 08:27 PM

all i see on your car are those daisy looking rims man...to big of a rim takes away from the car itself..efficient as in not going to crack/bend on a pothole and its cheaper both for tires and rims

SEmy2K2go 01-24-2005 08:50 PM

Not to whore up Arnold's thread, but Roll4life is all about contradicting himself.

Do you remember these two threads?

I want some 18's without dropping my car.

Will 18's fit with this drop?

"Daisy looking wheels" - that's cute.
