Axle sticking out w/ high offset..
From info. which I gathered from the board, I came to a conclusion that a +45 offset would work, might not be ideal, but it would work on my 4th gen (18x8). My car's in the shop right now, getting some work done, and also getting my new rims on. The guy showed me how the center caps on my wheels won't fit, and I'd have to take them off because the axle sticks out a little.
Is this OK? Obviously I'd want to get the car back before I make any decisions, but I just want to make sure this is safe.. might look a little funny, or would probably look a lot better with the center caps. If it's a problem, I guess I can sell these rims/tires somehow and get a set of rims with 35 offset (also lose out on a couple hundred $$ probably ).
Help appreciated, thanks.
