I was wondering if these tires are worth buying. I’ve read all of the reviews on tirerack and 1010tires. Some people like them some people don’t. I need new tires in a bad way. The local dealer told me 167.00 plus tax per tire and that includes road hazard, life time balance and rotation. Ohh also if it matters Im just going to get the stock 225/50/17's

These tires are great. I have had them on my 2K2 SE for just over a month. Way better tha the Falken tires I replaced them with. I posted a review a while back in this forum. Check it out.

I'm also thinking of buying these tires and also read the mixed reviews.
Also some owners mentioned about the Turanzas becoming out of round or developing small 'bumps' after so many km's.. That didnt thrill me.

I don't wanna spend an arm and leg for tires but a reasonable amount for good reliable rubber.
The Turanza LS-V's are priced 240$ each CDN which is quite steep. It's robbery for paying so much for tires that won't last long. Anyhow there's not much to do.

From all the tires that come in stock size and V rating, I wasnt thrilled with customer reviews but then again everybody sees things differently.

You'd figure for a sports sedan like this one there would be a better choice of tire makes. Too bad cause it sucks. I guess Nissan and Bridgestone made a sweet deal amongst themselves.

Does tire rack ship to Canada. They sell these tires for $145 US

I don't know about Tirerack, but I believe 1010tires has a CDN warehouse. I am completely happy with the Turanza LS-Vs...wrote a review a month or so ago. Now with more highway driving: these are great tires! Quiet, smooth and with excellent handling in all conditions (snow is just very good!). In rain, I couldn't tell any difference from dry: no hydroplaning and complete security and control. That said, my sister has the Toyo Proxes TPT and has no complaints either.

I'm using stock-sized Bridgestone RE-950's and I can honestly say that despite being a little noisy at low speeds, they are the best tires I have ever owned...excellent handling, ride, wear, and the wet weather performance is amazing. If the LS series tries are as good or better than the 950's, they should be great!

The (obvious) thing with Tire Rack is that although they offer excellent pricing, you have to make local arrangements for installation...I'm not sure how willing a local tire shop will be to install tires you purchased elsewhere, or for what price.

Well I bought these tires yesterday. I am completely satisfied with them. They are very quiet. Feels like I am riding on air compared to my tires that came with the car. (mastercraft avenger) Like I said I am totally satisfied. What PSI is everyone running with these tires??

Talk to 10 different people and you will probably get 10 different answers. But my (conservative) answer is to follow Nissan's recommendation for your vehicle...these recommendations are based on a number of factors including handling, economy, etc.

Another Turanza convert- yes!!

I'm running 33.5 front, 30.5 rear, set cold with a digital gauge. I hardly ever have someone in the back seat and when I do, it's usually my daughter who weighs 110 lb wet -I just cant understand why Nissan recommends equal front/rear pressures for a car that has 63% of it's weight on the front wheels.... :banghead:
