Altima SE-R's rims fit on our cars?
 

I happened to see one parked near my house and I just stared at the rims on it.
I read that these are 18" forged aluminum-alloy on 225/45R18 rubber.
Will these fit our cars?

They should fit. But I don't know the specific weight or offsets. You stand a good chance at clearing any future bbk also with these. But these are pretty rare. I'm running the 350z track editions. Forged Rays. I run 4 fronts @ 18x8.

I was told they are heavy. Nice wheels though.

They are supposed to be forged so I would imagine they are light for a 18" wheel.

Forged wheels aren't always light. HRE's for instance are one of the nicer and more expensive forged wheels out there, and are pretty damned heavy.

Funny I looked at one the other day in the dealer and that's the only thing I didn't like about the car! No accounting for good taste :rollsmile

Even the g35 Coupe wheels at the stealer are $1200CDN each! :lolrun:

You want some 18" wheels? I have some G35 Coupe 18s for sale. 18x8 245-45-18 and 225-45-18s. Come down and pick them up. :D

Jeff, they look fabulous but when I ran the sizes in 1010tires.com I got a warning that the 245/45-18's would be 5% and anything over 3% would increase the risk of brake failure.

Never heard of that. Plus if anything, you would run them in the rears if possible. You could always sell the 245s and run all 225-45s. I saw some 225-45-18 Michelins on ebay for cheap.

And get this. These CLEAR the Cobra/300z bbk setup with NO spacers. And since it's a Nissan wheel, the hub bore and stud sizes are right on.

Bunch of Hooey. it might cause the ABS sensors to get mad, but that's only because of the difference in speed each wheel is turning when you hit the brakes.. but that happens any time you run tires that have different diameters.

As long as you're running all 4 tires with the same (or roughly the same) diameter, then there's no problem with them.

running larger tires will fill up the wheel wells and make the brakes work slightly less effectively, but they will not cause brake failure. that's simply a statement to protect them from idiots and their lawyers.
