Seems like most people from g35driver.com are from SoCal or Tampa. I been looking for 18" G35 Coupe rims for months. No luck yet.

I found a set of 18"g35 wheels for my winter setup finally and the rims look to be in great shape so I'm in need of tires. I was looking for some suggestions on tire size for an 01 with H&R springs. Currently I have a 20" wheel for the summer which is great but last year in the snow my max didn't wanna go 20 ft. So I'm gonna grab these g35 wheels have them painted black to match and looking for suggestions for a good tires size for these 18's with an all season tire that I can throw chains on if need be. Any suggestions on tire size for the 18" g wheels. I was thinking of keeping the H&R rear springs and possible doing s-tech's in the front to lose some of the wheel gap next summer. Any advice.

Does anyone know whether spacers are needed if I wan to go with the infinite 18*8 wheels? I didn't see Irish mentioning anything in his setup. Just want to double check.

Just to be sure, Im reading that the rear G35 size (245-45-18) will rub on a stock 01 max? (i actually have an 01 i30, but same difference Im guessing)

Thought I had a good deal on a set with new tires but if the back ones will rub then no go.

Found a good deal on the 17" G35 wheels that are 7.5" wide, I assume the rears are 8" wide (trying to confirm this with the ebay seller).

Will these fit an 01 Maxima/i30?

I ran the offset calc and it seems they *should* fit, but would feel more comfortable if someone could confirm that (I think Irish had these as auto-x wheels but just wanted to be sure)

Note that this would be with the stock tire size (225-50-17 up front, 235-50-17 in back)
Thanks in advance.

-Chris

imo, i would go with the one's that has the splines on the outside of em...where i use to work at those are pretty reliable to take off. the ones with the indentations in the middle seem to break off.

someone is willing to sell me a set of 16" inch wheels for cheap they're nice too.

thing is though the wheel is 7 inches wide with an OFFSET of 25. will this clear the 4th gens (no the car is'nt dropped...yet)

+1 on where to get good wheel locks. From what I have read, the spline one seems to break off easily.

Hi, will the 18" G37 sedan rims fit well on a 6th gen max? If so how do they look. good or bad decision? Does anybody already have pictures of these rims mounted on there maxima's? They come with 225/50/R18 Dunlop tires.

Rims similar to these:

Heres mine with g35c 18". Was able to keep Infinity center caps. Just hammered the rear dust cap a little and the front had no problem at all. Rubbing on the rear tires. These tires do stick out more than my other rims. I like how the car is almost the same color as the wheels. Also noticed that these wheels look really big. Guess its the style. My old wheels were the same 18" but with a 8.5 width. Just swapped over the tires, so using 245/40/18.

nice ride trlmax - I am looking at the same wheels, but don't want to spend the $$$ to lower the suspension and close the wheel gap. is your's lowered?

to all - I have a '97, love the G35 7 spokes, but are concerned that 18" will have too big of a wheel gap without a lowered suspension. should I just go with the 7 spoke 17? I have read most of the posts in this sticky (it is great ), but a lot of the pictures are expired. I found one of a 4th gen with 18" that looked like a 4X4!

My car is lowered on H&R's. The lower pic w different wheels was when I was on ground control coilovers. Great stance, crappy ride!

Anyone seen these on a 4th gen? I think they are supposed to be staggered: 7.5" fronts, 8.5" rear. Think they would fit on a stock suspension?

Good deal if they are mint. The rims will fit fine... What size tires are you gonna run this will be the deciding factor of a good fit and is your car lowered?

Rubbing

Just dropped my max 2" with intrax/agx, running OEM 35s with 235 40 18 and they rub when I hit modest bumps, any suggestions?

How would the newer model g35 17x7.5 45mm offset wheels fit on a 2004 maxima ?
Size 225 55 17 tires
I currently have 18's and want a softer ride
