Who here has Alessio F1's on their 4th gen?

Im looking to buy some Alessio F1's but I need to ask some questions for fellow orgers with this set up on their 4th gen.

Not too sure how much they weigh, but how much of a difference did you notice after putting these on? mileage wise, acceleration wise, braking wise, etc

Also, what size tires did you put on?

I plan on getting these rims in 18s, but I'm not too sure of what tire size to go with.

I believe A_Flood has these on his beautiful Max.

Are you getting 17's or 18's? The bigger you go, the "lag" you will feel in terms of acceleration and braking power.

I have the Evo5's, which are basically identical. I used to get about 315 miles to the tank, but i barely make it to 300 now. It also depends on your driving habits.

I would get them in 18's...17's look a little small. I have 235/40/zr18. You could go 235/35/zr18 as well, but they are too thin in my opinion

A Flood99 has em

They're a VERY good alternative to the usual played out evo-5s :wall:

im not saying i dont like anyone's max with the evo-5s

My tire size is 245/40/18

Gas mileage....eh, I doubt any change.

alright sweet guys

sorry i havent been checking back, skool just started and the transition from highschool to college is pretty...interesting...already startin to fall behind haha

Im probably going to get either size 235/40/18 or 245/40/18 for the F1's

VIP Maxima Sep 1, 2005 05:31 PM

no, A Flood99 doesnt have em. speedymax99 has em in 19's chromed. they are pretty nice.

i got 19" EV-S and i get 300 mpg ALL city. im also on 245-40

acceleration will mostly be lost from a stop. from a roll u lose less. go with 19's, u wont regret em

Got these a few years ago. Didn't have the money to get 18z at the time. These are 17z on Intrax springs. http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...Picture100.jpg
Get 18z or 19z. :) If you got the cash. BTW these weigh with the tires as much as the stock wheel which (on a bathroom scale/ghetto weigh in) was about 40lbs.

anarchy57 Sep 1, 2005 07:25 PM

Looks nice :)

Im goin with 18s, 19 is too much for my liking

Do you guys think i should go with 235/40 or 245/40 tires?

VIP Maxima Sep 1, 2005 07:29 PM

19's man, 19's !!! they are never too much. no difference between 19's and 18's. IMO one should either get 17's for sole performance or 19's for show. get the 19's and call it a day.

anarchy57 Sep 1, 2005 07:50 PM

Man I cant dish out more money for 19s haha

and plus I dont have a kit on my car and I think having 19s would look a bit weird...

maxgtr2000 Sep 1, 2005 07:57 PM

True, I wouldn't get 19s without a kit, drop it on 18s if you are not planning to get one. Only bad things about 19s is availability of tires.

speedymax99 Sep 1, 2005 10:37 PM

i got them and their 19 with 245/40-19 and i get about 350mph city
