Tires for 2000 GLE rims
I'm going to be getting GLE rims this week and I want to know which tires to put on. Its suggested to put on 215/55/16 but is it fine if I put on 215/60/16, which are cheaper? I'm thinking kumho..
whats this a link to? It just links me to the main tire page...

Go with Dunlop SP Sport 01 in the 225/55-16 size. This link: ><http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Dunlop&tireModel=SP+Sport+01+A& partnum=255WR601&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1= yes&place=3> is a little deceptive, because, in the 225/55-16 size, Tire Rack actually ships SP Sport 01, not SP Sport O1A.
Dunlop now is a division of Goodyear, and the SP Sport 01 is made in Germany (Goodyear also acquired German tire manufacturer Fulda). It is the usual OEM tire on Audi's factory hot rod, the S4, and on BMW's top sedan, the 745. As a replacement tire, it is a fantastic bargain. i had the hankook HRII 215/55/16 when i had my stock rims and I loved them. To me it gripped well when it was dry or wet. The price is very reasonable too
